Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

Intelligent Prompter (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for the information described here. For any privacy-related question or request, contact us at support@elevatemyprompt.com.

2. What we collect and why

We collect a deliberately small amount of data:

• Your email address — to create your account and sign you in. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Your prompt text — passed through our service to the AI provider so it can be enhanced (see section 3). Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Usage counts— the number of enhancements you have used this month, to enforce your plan’s monthly limit. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
• Subscription details — your plan and its status, kept in sync with our payment processor (see section 5). Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.

3. How prompt enhancement works

When you enhance a prompt, the text you submit is sent from the extension to our secure backend (a Supabase Edge Function), which forwards it to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the improved version. The result is returned to you. We do not use your prompts to train any model.

4. AI sub-processor: Anthropic

We use Anthropic (the maker of Claude) to generate prompt enhancements. Your prompt text is processed by Anthropic to return a result. Anthropic may retain inputs and outputs for a limited period (up to 30 days) for trust & safety purposes, after which they are deleted, in line with Anthropic’s own commercial terms.

5. Payment sub-processor: Razorpay

Premium subscriptions are processed by Razorpay. Your card details are entered directly with Razorpay and are handled by them under their own security standards — our systems never receive or store your raw credit card information. We only receive payment metadata such as your subscription ID, plan, and payment status.

6. Data retention

We do not log or store the content of your prompts on our servers — they pass through only to be enhanced. We keep your email, usage counts, and subscription details for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, this data is removed (see section 7).

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page of your dashboard; this cancels any active subscription and removes your email, usage, and subscription records. You can also exercise any of these rights by emailing us at support@elevatemyprompt.com.

8. International transfers and age requirement

Our service providers (including Anthropic and Razorpay) may process your data on servers outside your country of residence. By using Intelligent Prompter you understand your data may be transferred across borders to deliver the service.

Intelligent Prompter is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

9. Governing law

This policy and our handling of your data are governed by the laws of India. If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the “last updated” date above.
